ies do understand that today's woman does not live by age but by lifestyle," said Julian, who is president of Tom Julian Group, a brand consulting firm. "These
brands have a loyal
ugg boots customer base — sometimes urban, sometimes suburban - and these women are chic and modern but not overly trendy. Many live for style, not fashion.
Many mix and match versus dress head to toe from one look or label."
Chico's spokeswoman Dayna Isom said the company has been repositioning its look for a few years. The fall 2010 campaign focuses on stylish, classic jackets that mix
well with skinny trousers and pencil skirts.
"The Chico's woman is full of energy," Isom said. "She loves to have fun, and she wants to look good wherever she goes. We are committed to offering designs that are
relevant to what's happening in fashion and in her life."
For Denise Dylla, a retired teacher who has been shopping at Chico's for 15 years, the store's expanded selection is enticing.
"Chico's really has changed its style, even how the clothes are constructed and color choices," Dylla said. "They've kept the things they're known for, like those easy,
relaxed pieces that travel well, but they've added more tailored pieces that are dressier and suited for the office. As their styling has changed, it fits my personal
choices better. I have more options."
If I were to compile a lookbook right now it would most likely consist of dark brown Steve Madden army boots (with an adorable coat of flannel inside the boot), washed
out cropped leather jackets, back crocheted tights, baggy jersey shirts that hang off the shoulder, purple or deep brown nail polish, and knit legwarmers to go under
UGG Boots. In a matter of literally

It’s the first year Esquivel and Cornejo have teamed up, and this is Esquivel’s first fall/winter line for Cornejo.
“[Cornejo's] collection is structured and architectural so we tried to create lines in the shoes and give them some texture and shapes that are just a little
different,” Esquivel said. “They’re just a little off-center.”
Standouts from the line include lace-up ankle boots with removable “sleeves” that resemble spats. The sleeves can be changed up so you can customize the boots.
